The Interchange collection explores how permutation makes the specifics of identity less imperative, thereby imparting a sense of anonymity. Shape, volume and finish are exchanged without modifying overall form. Transposition happens in place of transformation, intimating how one may choose a direction at an interchange that leaves us rearranged, but not essentially altered.
Aesthete is a purely visual exploration of a singular form and its possibilities for curvature. This series considers jewellery as objects of beauty outside of context, a nod to Aestheticism. From effortless play with traditional metal, pieces emerge that are classical, yet ever contemporary.
